Hi
I have a question for ya…
Your belief is that FIP is not contagious because the corona virus mutates in the individual cat and therefore must be the cat’s immune system that has allowed this to develope into FIP… but let me ask you this – Can’t the mutated virus be shed by that now infected cat and other cats pick up the virus already mutated?
No. The mutated virus is not passed. We know this because even in one household when two cats come down with FIP the mutation is in a different place in the virus. It is not my belief, this is what has been proven by the researchers in our veterinary profession.
